that were announced recently. The yet-to-release 'Kaasav' brought home the Golden Lotus award given for Best film, while 'Dashakriya' won the Best Marathi film award.

Rajesh Mapuskar, who directed 'Ventilator', was adjudged the Best Director. Manoj Joshi won the Best Supporting Actor award for his role in 'Dashakriya'. The film also won the Best Screenplay award for Sanjay Krishnaji Patil. Produced by Priyanka Chopra, 'Ventilator', that marks the return of Ashutosh Gowariker to acting, also brought home the awards for Best editing and Best re-recording and sound mixing.

, has been directed by the talented duo Sunil Sukthankar and Sumitra Bhave and has also been winning a lot of awards in various film festivals across the country and abroad. In its review of 'Kaasav', The Hollywood Reporter says, “A forward-thinking Indian lady offers the shelter of her beach house to a suicidal young man in Turtle (Kaasav), a heart-felt social drama from the award-winning directing/producing team Sumitra Bhave and Sunil Sukthankar.”
