' got a theatrical release in India but the magic of this legal drama refuses to fade. This Chaitanya Tamhane directorial, arguably the most-decorated Indian film globally, managed to earn rave reviews from critics, the festival circuit and international viewers alike.
Now, the film is all set to get a theatrical release in Japan. Actress
Kalki Koechlin posted an update on her Instagram page with the Japanese poster of the film, calling it ‘one of the best films I’ve seen from my industry in recent years (sic)’. Confirming the same, producer Vivek Gomber, who plays lawyer Vinay Vora in the film, says, “It will most probably release in
Japan
around June and with Japanese subtitles. As of now, we don’t have more details either.”
