Children’s film Monkey Baat to release in May

We have seen filmmakers are finding new and innovative ways to promote their films. One such unusual promotion was held recently on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti by the makers of Marathi children’s film Monkey Baat. A monkey arrived at Bansidhar Hanuman Mandir and stood in front of the Hanuman idol with folded hands. People started gathering in large numbers and started talking to him.
It was later found that a small kid was in the get up of a monkey. Was this an April fools pranks? Well no, this was to promote the forthcoming Marathi film ‘Monkey Baat’ written and directed by Viju Mane. The film will be released during summer vacation on 18th May 2018 all over Maharashtra. Renowned make up artiste of Bollywood films Vidyadhar Bhatte had specially created this make up for the boy, using silicon material, so that the boy had no problem in breathing.
