Nikki Galrani to play a customs officer

Actress Nikki Galrani has apparently packed quite a punch for her scenes as a police officer in her upcoming Tamil movie 'Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran'.

Now, the actress will be seen as another law enforcer in the upcoming Jayasurya, Kunchacko Boban-starrer Shajahanum Pareekuttiyum.
On her role in the Boban Samuel directorial, she says, “I play a customs officer named Thressiamma Punnose.”

tells us that it’s just a cameo in the movie, which has Amala Paul as the female protagonist. “Though I only have a few scenes, I have a crucial role in the latter half of the film. I am elated that I’m getting to try out such roles, of late!” she says.

The 1983 actress shot with the team only for a day but tells us that she had a gala time on the sets with her co-stars. “It was exciting to do the film. It’s my second movie with Chackochan after Rajamma@Yahoo. I have known Amala for long too, but it’s the first time we are working together,” she says.
Meanwhile, Nikki also has another Malayalam project titled Team 5, which marks the Mollywood debut of cricketer Sreesanth. “We took a break as Sree was busy with the election campaign. Now that that’s over, we will resume the shoot soon. As an actor, he is comfortable in front of the camera and it is great to work with him,” she signs off.
