Titled ‘

Mindi Meettam

,’ the album also has its concept, music and vocals by Emcy himself. The song, that goes ‘Kalppanthin Melavum, Kaliyoorum Thaalavum’ is a fast-paced song laced with melody. At a time in which shooting with a big crew or actors is challenging due to the various pandemic restrictions, the team has executed it using puppetry to narrate the story of the video. The ancient art of ‘Tholppaavakkoothu’ is used in collaboration with modern technology for the same, in ‘Mindi Meettam.’ Through the art, it features a couple of things that were part of the normal life of Keralites, like Kochi Metro, Kochi Muziris Biennale art show, football matches, motorcycle rides, the campuses of Kerala, theatres, small eateries like thattukada and more.

The video description says, ‘Nothing is lost, every single cherishing moment of our life is going to return soon. Let the hopeless minds enlighten with this throwback to the missing memories, reconnect with refreshing friendship bonds & keep distance with the bad vibes. Stay SAFE, HAPPY & await the coming good days.’ The song’s lyrics is by adv Shahul Mezhathur.

Emcy Joseph’s film ‘Vikruthi’ was met with a positive response and the movie also had actors like Soubin Shahir, Vincy Aloshious, Pouli Valsan, Jaffar Idukki and more as part of the cast.
