Vegam music review
Govind Menon, better known as the lead singer of the band Thaikkudam Bridge, ventures into film music again with Vegam, after his debut with North 24 Katham. Govind has experimented with different genres in the film, which has two major songs. The first song, Vegam Anthem, is a hearty musical extravaganza with a profusion of guitars.
Anish Krishnans powerful vocals are the best part of the song, which has plenty of rock guitar backing.

The members of the band feature in the visuals of the song. The official song, Neer Palunkin, is a soothing melody which has notched up quite a number of hits already on the internet. It starts off with Merin Gregorys fluid voice as Sidharth Menon, also a part of the band, joins in. There is nothing entirely new about the melody but it is quite listenable, with the lyrics by Anu Elizabeth Jose complementing the theme of romance.
The Hindustani bits towards the end, rendered by Krishna Bongane blend into the song well, and all in all, we would sure like more from the composer and his gang. Vegam has a background song as well, Daude Daude, vocalised by Anish Krishnan, Rashmi Satheesh and Govind Menon himself.
