For the past few days, musician – composer M Jayachandran, who recently gave Mollywood a beautiful super – hit song through the track ‘Vaathilkkalu Vellaripraavu’ of the film ‘Sufiyum Sujathayum,’ has been sharing some interesting videos via his page.
In the videos, one gets to see many singers, who are often not famous or are into playback, attempting the track and doing complete justice to it.

Most recently, he shared the video of State Award winner singer ‘Vaikom Vijayalakshmi’ singing the song, sans the accompaniment of any instrument.
Jayachandran captioned Vijayalakshmi’s performance, thus: Who can sing like my little sister Vaikom Vijayalakshmi? This is what we call blessing. It is like the almighty appearing in the form of music.
The original song was sung in the film by Nithya Mammen and was penned by B K Harinarayanan. Alongside the track ‘Alham Dulilla’ from the film, the ‘Vellaripraavu’ song has impressed many, for its emotionally rich melody and unparalleled feel. Its singer Nithya Mammen had also previously sung the song ‘Nee Himamazhayaayi Varu,’ for the film ‘Edakkadu Battalion,’ in the music direction of Kailas Menon.
