They were doubtful about my singing ability

After lending her voice for umpteen number of songs, across industries, singer Minmini suddenly vanished from the limelight for a few years.Now her title track in Mili strikes a chord with the listeners.However in a recent interview, the chinna chinna Asai fame said that people from film industry were doubtful about giving her a chance to sing.
She says" I had lost my voice for a while and though I got it back, people were quite doubtful about my singing ability.However I was busy on devotional music front and did not want to knock on doors seeking playback singing opportunities.
