Sreevalsan J Menon to debut as an actor, playing Kumaranasan

Music director Sreevalsan J Menon has scored music for many critically acclaimed movies like 'Swapaanam,' 'Anarkali' and 'Ottal.'

Now, the scientist-turned-musician is debuting as an actor. In the upcoming movie 'Kavi,' he plays the role of the legendary poet

, and his look for the movie was recently revealed on social media. The film's shoot starts today at Perumbalam Island in Aluva. Sreevalsan is also scoring music for the film.
