Sayanora and Niranj Suresh deliver peppy youth festival theme song
Malayalees have a special place in their hearts for youth festivals and a new digital arts festival, titled Jumporee, already has the top voices backing it, literally. The title song for the first online talent festival for global Malayalees was launched on social media, and it has Sayanora Philip and Niranj Suresh, who also composed the jingle, kicking off the number which feels apt for a youthful celebration of artistic talent.

“Hey everyone sharing my new composition ‘Jumporee theme song’ sung by powerful Sayanora Philip and myself,” Niranj shared on social media.
The singers breathe life into the idea of coming together with happiness during this difficult time the world is going through. The nearly three minute title theme song mixes melody with rap to bring on a totally youthful vibe and peppy feel. The lyrics are by Shabareesh.
Composers and singers Sayanora and Niranj have been busy during the lockdown with interesting projects. Shabareesh released Lokam, a Covid-19 awareness and fundraiser song, which roped in several industry colleagues.
Jumporee is envisioned as the first “digital kalolsavam of world Malayalees”, and while school children students are expected to be the main participants, the organisers - art enthusiasts from north Kerala - are encouraging the festival as a platform for anyone to showcase their talents.
Presenting the concept, actor Manju Warrier said in a message, “At a time when people’s lives are restricted to their homes, Jumporee is a magic door to positivity and overcoming struggles through song and dance.”
Registration for the festival ends on December 31.
