Musician Rex Vijayan, who is one of the composers of the music of Mayaanadhi, is at the red carpet of the 65th Jio Filmfare Awards South 2018. The musician says he feels honoured and humbled to be at the awards, where

has been nominated in the best music category. About composing with Shahbaz Aman, he says, "It was a great experience, trying new genres of music and it was a real learning experience for me."

Rex is working on another film, called Valiya Perunnal. Bimal Dennis is directing the film, in which Shane Nigam will do the lead role.
