Pistah song crosses one crore views

Pistah: The Run Anthem from Malayalam and Tamil bilingual film Neram starring Nivin Pauly and Nazriya Nazim which made the entire South India dance has crossed more than one crore views on YouTube recently.
Song composed by Rajesh Murugesan and sung by Shabareesh Varma has its lyrics taken from a comedy track from Sathyan Anthikad's film 1983 film Kinnaram, featuring Jagathy Sreekumar who played the role of a music composer in the film.
Additional lyrics were added by Shabareesh Varma. A music video was released in March 2013 and went viral. The video was directed by Alphonse Putharen. The song was a tribute to Jagathy Sreekumar, who had met with an accident just over a year before its release.
Expressing happiness, Siju Wilson, one among from the Neram team, posted on his social media page; "PISTAH !!!! 1CRORE views .....Happie Happier Happiest 2016."
