had a surprise in store for their music director
Govind Vasantha on his birthday on October 29. They unveiled the behind the scenes video of the music sessions and from what we saw everyone including singers Shahbaz Aman, Anne Amie and lyricist
Anwar Ali
had a blast working with Govind.
Music has a lot of importance in the movie, written and directed by
Liju Krishna and produced by
Sunny Wayne. Govind, who had earlier composed for the Tamil movie 96, said that this is a project that he is most excited about among his upcoming movies. The song compositions for Padavettu are unique, claim the makers.
Apart from Shahbaz and Anne, singers Bhavana, Anusree, CJ Kuttapan and Sunil Mathai have also sung in the film. Rapper Vedan, who is known for his track Voice of the Voiceless, has also rendered a rap track for the movie, which has one more schedule to complete.
Nivin Pauly had put on weight to play the character and has wrapped majority of his portions in that look before the lockdown. The next schedule will have him in a leaner avatar. Aruvi actress Aditi Balan plays the female protagonist in the movie, which also has Manju Warrier playing a pivotal role. Shine Tom Chacko, Shammi Thilakan, Indrans, Vijayaraghavan and Kainakary Thankaraj are also part of the cast of the big budget movie.
Deepak D Menon is the cinematographer of the film which has Shafeeq Muhammed as its editor and Renganath Raave as its sound designer.
