Directed by Abhijith Joseph, ‘John Luther’ is touted to be a thriller. Speaking to ETimes earlier, the director said, “Our film belongs to the thriller genre. It has family sentiments, drama, and elements of an investigative thriller, but it’s majorly a thriller.

(Jayasurya) will be seen as a circle inspector in the film. John Luther is a dedicated cop. He is very much devoted to his job, and everything else falls secondary for him. The film revolves around two crime cases investigated by John Luther.”

The trailer of the film was launched earlier and it grabbed the attention of the audience for all the right reasons. Jayasurya played John Luther, a cop, who suffers from unilateral hearing loss following an accident and is assigned to unravel the mystery of a series of missing cases in a town.
