‘Oru Kuri Kandu Naam’ song of ‘Vellam’ is out

A new song from the upcoming Jayasurya film ‘Vellam: The Essential Drink,’ is just out.
The song, that goes ‘Oru Kuri Kandu Naam,’ was recently shared on social media. The track, penned by Hari Narayanan B K, is composed by Bijibal. It is sung by Viswananthan. The song has keys by Vysakh Bejoy, additional vocals by Jibin Gopal, Vysakh Bejoy and Madhu Paul.
The film, which is directed by Prajesh Sen and also has Samyuktha Menon in the lead role, also has songs written by Nidheesh Nadery and Fouzia Aboobacker. Vijesh Viswam and Shamsudheen Kuttoth are also co-writers of the film, which has editing by Bijith Bala, art by Ajay Mangad, action by Mafia Sasi, costume design by Aravind K R, sound design by Arun Varma make up by Libin Mohanan, Kiran Raj and choreography by Sajna Najam.
‘Vellam’ si said to be based on a true story and the makers had earlier said that it is not a dark film. Apparently, it is a family-oriented movie about a person from Thaliparambu in Kannur. Interestingly, he is still alive as well. Samyuktha’s role in the film is that of a homemaker.
As for Jayasurya, yet another movie of his, titled ‘Sunny,’ was also recently announced. The movie, which is the 100th project that the actor is part of, is a musical and it is directed by Ranjith Sankar, with whom he has done many notable movies like ‘Njan Marykutty’ and ‘Punyalan Agarbattis’ in the past. Jayasurya plays the role of a contemporary musician in the film.
