Neeraj Madhav’s ‘Pani Paali’ rap song is here

Actor Neeraj Madhav has been trying his hand at rap songs ever since the lockdown was announced and he has tried quite a few tracks, which he had released through his social media pages in the recent times.


His most recent one ‘Pani Paali,’ which has beats by Arcado, is a humorous rap song that tells the story of a dream a youngster has in the morning, after he falls asleep with difficulty. Featuring some interesting elements like ‘yakshi’ and ‘girls next door,’ the makers have spiced it up enough to create a funny story line via rap. The video of the song is presented as sketches that take us through the tale’s trajectory. Also, it looks like Neeraj goes by the name NJ, as a rapper.

The actor, who is also a gifted dancer who has revealed his talent in the same both on the big and small screens, started rapping first through the song ‘Oru Kadha Parayam,’ which he wrote and rendered in a video he uploaded online during the lockdown days. The song, which he had apparently written in an hour or so, became quite popular with many appreciating his attempt. His cool hip-hop style, in the video, complete with a snapback cap worn backwords was also much uploaded.

From there, he went on to do a series of songs featuring animals as characters to present some issues concerning them. The actor was also quite vocal about animal abuse, around the time a pregnant wild elephant was dead in the Palakkad district of Kerala, after consuming a pineapple filled with explosives.
