Music review - Himalayathile Kasmalan
Himalayathile Kasmalan, which apparently lines up about 52 new faces, has some new names figuring in its jukebox too.
Let’s plug on and hear what they have in store for us.
Akkidi, sung by Sooraj Santhosh, is a medium paced song with some fun lyrics. The song can do well if set aptly against a set of fun-loving youngsters, who can crack you up with their antics.
1x1 polls
The BGM does have the aura of a drunk party floor, with some head banger moments. As a stand-alone song, it doesn’t merit much of repeat listens.
The other song Aalolam is quite different from the first and has some soothing notes inviting you to swim further into it. A track for a loved one is sung decently by Mridula Warrier. However, the composition is not quite catchy, albeit in parts. No part of it hooks the audience enough to keep coming back to it, other than the entry notes.
