Music review: Chandrettan Evideya

Music review: Chandrettan Evideya
The songs of Chandrettan Evideya have already been scorching music charts though interestingly, the album is quite unlike its composer Prashant Pillais previous works so far.
Haricharan and Preeti Pillais voices magically work in tandem to give life to the albums most popular song Vasanthamallike, a catchy, free-flowing number flavoured with raag Aabheri.
1x1 polls
It has the right mix of traditional music with mild modern influences. The lyricist has also done a stupendous work be it with the intro Tamil lines or the traditional-yet snappy Malayalam portion.
The second song, Kinavin Kilikal, is a pleasant, pacy track which might take a couple of listens to appreciate it, but its decently engaging. The chorus is its coolest part, and singer Sreekumars rendition lends a lot of weight to the composition. The album is refreshing and offers the right mix of fun and melody to the new generation audience.
