Now, Malayalam actor Mohanlal has also sent her a voice message to congratulate her on the achievement.
And the message goes like this, “Dear Souparnika, I am really happy and proud to hear that you have qualified for the world famous reality show Britain’s Got Talent. I am amazed by your level of confidence and your talent in singing. As an Indian in general and Keralite in particular, you make us all proud. Being the first young Indian solo singer to qualify, I wish you all the success in the show and your career, and in life. Lovingly, Mohanlal uncle.”
AR Rahman had shared the clip of Souparnika’s performance, captioning it, “Nice to wake up to this.” Souparnika had began her audition at the Britian’s Got Talent singing the ‘Trolley Song’ by Judy Garland in ‘Meet Me in St.Louis.’ However, the main judge of the show, Simon Cowell, had stopped her in a few seconds, asking her to try singing any other song. Though a little girl, the young Souparnika remained cool and went on to sing the famous song ‘Never Enough,’ which got her a standing ovation from the crowd and judges Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, David Walliams and Simon himself.
