'Karinkunnam 6s' is a sports movie based on volleyball starring Manju Warrier, Anoop Menon, Babu Antony, Suraj Venjaramoodu,Gregory Jacob and Lena. Directed by Deepu Karunakaran, the story and screenplay are written by Arunlal Ramachandran. This is the first time a Malayalam movie with volleyball game as a theme has been taken up. Shyamaprasad, Major Ravi, Maniyanpilla Raju, Baiju,Aneesh, Noby, Padmaraj Rathish, Sudev Nair, Santhosh Keezhattoor, Pradeep Kottayam, Sudheer Karamana, Jagadish and Manikuttan are also part of the cast. The movie's cinematography is handled by Jayakrishna Gummadi, whereas the editing is done by V Saajan. Muzik247 is the official music label. Produced by Jayalal Menon and Anil Biswas under the banner of Backwater Studios,'Karinkunnam 6s' is scheduled to release on July 7th.
