M Jayachandran sings his composition on rain, again
When the Malayalam film ‘Perumazhakkalam,’ directed by Kamal, was released in the year 2004, many were also quick to notice the film for its beautiful songs, in addition to its touching story.
The songs of the film were by music director M Jayachandran. He had also lent his voice as a singer for the movie, by rendering one version of the melancholy track ‘Raakkilithan Vazhi Marayum.’ Manjari had sung by female version of the song.

In the context in which many portions of Kerala are inundated by rain-induced waters, the music director is seen singing from his balcony, as it rains outside. He captions his singing video thus: Rain, please don’t pour down like this. You should stop, the pain should cease.
