Singer – violinist Kavya Ajit, who has sung many tracks like ‘Maaga Maaga’ in the Dulquer Salmaan film ‘Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithal’ and ‘Aararo Aardhramayi’ in the Pranav Mohanlal film ‘Irupathiyonnam Noottandu,’ recently shared a video of her playing the violin.
In the video, she was soulfully playing the hit ‘Hey Ram’ song ‘Nee Paartha Paarvai,’ on her violin and her fans were extremely delighted by it too.
The song, from the Tamil film ‘Hey Ram’ released in the year 2000, is a soulful melody that’s still a go-to number for many vocalists to perform. The song, composed by Ilaiyaraja, was written by Kamal Hassan and sung by Asha Bhosle and Hariharan. In Hindi, it came out as the track ‘Janmon Ki Jwala,’ and was sung by the same vocalists.
Kavya, who debuted as a singer in Malayalam movies in the year 2013, has sung in many movies over years. Some of her notable songs are ‘Ullasamlo’ from the 2017 film ‘Two Countries,’ ‘Hey Don’t Worry Jude’ from the 2018 Nivin Pauly – Trisha starrer ‘Hey Jude,’ ‘Ee Shishira Kaalam,’ from the 2016 Malayalam film ‘Jacobinte Swargarajyam,’ ‘Neeyen Kaattai’ from the 2015 Manju Warrier starrer film ‘Jo and the Boy,’ ‘Neelambalin’ from the 2015 movie ‘Oru Vadakkan Selfie’ and ‘Chekkanum Pennum’ from the film ‘Chunkzz,’ released in the year 2017.
