She is the daughter of late composer Johnson
His daughter Shaan Johnson has stepped into the tinsel town and even recorded a song with K S Chithra and Chandralekha Adoor for an upcoming film. In conversation with a news forum, she recently said that as far as composing is concerned, she prefers using live instruments. Her favourite songs, composed by Johnson are Kanner Poovinte from Kireedam, songs of Njan Gandharvan and Namukku Paarkkan Munthiri Thoppukal.
