Gopi Sundar begins composing for Amal Neerad’s Bilal

announced that he is composing for Bilal. The composer shared a photo with the filmmaker in his post.

The movie, which will have Mammootty reprising the role of Bilal, is expected to be a thriller. Amal had announced that he is working on the sequel a few years ago, but that project had been in limbo since then.

This news, however, also confirms that the project would indeed go on floors by the first quarter of the year. Meanwhile, Mammootty has finished work on One and is currently busy with The Priest, which is directed by debutant Jofin T Chacko.
