Aparna Balamurali film ‘Maheshinte Prathikaram,’ which was the directorial debut of Dileesh Pothan, hit screens. Alongside the movie, its music, composed by Bijibal, was also a hit.
Recently, the Telugu version of the film, titled ‘Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya,’ directed by Venkatesh Maha and starring Satyadev Kancharana, Naresh, Suhas, Raghavan and Hari Chandana was also out, winning critical acclaim. Bijibal, who composed music for the Telugu film as well, had made an interesting revelation, recently.
Apparently, in place of the hit song ‘Mounangal Mindumoree Nerathu,’ which was sung by Vijay Yesudas and the lead actress Aparna Balamurali, Bijibal initially had yet another song, ready. The song, that went ‘Ethetho,’ wasn’t used in the movie, by the end. However, the composer used the song instead in the Telugu version of the movie, as a track that goes ‘Anandam.’
Now, the Malayalam version of the song is also all set to be released. At 6 pm on August 26, directors Dileesh Pothen and Venkatesh Maha will release the song ‘Ethetho’ through their social media pages. Bijibal reveals that though the song wasn’t used in ‘Maheshinte Prathikaram,’ the many bits of it were used as background score in various places featuring the characters Mahesh and Jimsi, in the Malayalam film.
The song is vocalised by the music director Bijibal himself and it has lyrics by writer – lyricist M R Jayageetha. And the fans of Bijibal’s music have already been saying that they are ‘katta waiting’ for the song, under posts announcing its arrival.
