After the success of his rap track ‘Panipaali’ a few months ago,
Neeraj Madhav has apparently been receiving many gifts from his fans. Recently, one of his fans, who is also an artist, gifted him a bust of his ‘Panipaali’ look.
Sharing the same on his page, Neeraj wrote: Salman Faris (@faris_craft_factory) gifted me this life sized portrait sculpture of panipaali character! I’m so glad so many dedications are still coming in & the song has crossed 3.2 crore views on YouTube already.
Thank you all for this love #panipaali #fanart (sic)
Neeraj had also released a couple of other songs post ‘Panipaali,’ and the latest of the lot was titled ‘Fly,’ which was dedicated to those who are having a tough time in the current scenario. It was composed, written and performed by Neeraj himself and its music was produced by Dan Pearson.
It was the third song of his latest album, which also had two other songs too titled ‘Wish’ and ‘Hope.’ Earlier, Neeraj had told us also told us, “I took inspiration from my personal struggles and decided to express it through hip hop. I wanted it to be empowering. The song Wish is about wanting to deal with the struggle by facing it head on, Hope is about striving to survive through it and Fly is about the beauty after overcoming it.” The actor had also revealed to us months ago that ‘Wish.Hope.Fly’ was in his mind even before his hit song ‘Pani Paali.’ Neeraj had confessed, “They speak about fighting one’s inner demons, dealing with depression, anxiety and other issues that many go through during this time. The tracks aren’t entirely of the hip hop genre. This time I have tried to bring in more musicality to it. So, I have explored the sub genres of rap music like lo-fi and mellow pop vibes.”
