Bijibal recites a poem for farmers

had used his music to portray the tough times faced by guest workers of Kerala, a few months ago during the lockdwon.

Now, at a time in which the farmers’ protests are going on in Delhi, the music director recently recited a poem dedicated to the same via his online page.

The poem, that goes ‘Nattu Kannu Nattu Naam Valarthiya Vilakale,’ was soon welcomed by his followers too with encouraging comments. While someone said, ‘True! Solidarity to farmers,’ others said ‘Salute to farmers,’ ‘Stand with farmers’ and more. The poem is just a few seconds longer than a minute, and ends on the note that the idea of equality is the dream always.

Meanwhile, his upcoming movie projects are ‘Jaan-E-Mann,’ ‘Erida,’ ‘Vellam’ and ‘Velikku Veluppankalam,’ among others. A while ago, Bijibal had also offered a song that goes ‘Pulariyil Achante’ to visually impaired young singer Ananya in the film ‘Vellam.’ The making video of the song, which was released by Manju Warrier, had also gone viral. Ananya was given the opportunity to sing after her rendition of the ‘Uyare’ song ‘Nee Mukilo’ went viral on social media.

As for his rendition for guest workers, he had sung his own composition ‘Thirike Njan Varumenna Vaartha Kelkkanaayi’ from the Lal Jose – Sreenivasan movie ‘Arabikkatha.’ He had said, “How can we laugh when we now see the plight of those who have travelled to far of places to make it their homes. Can we just tell them that our hearts are with them? Is it enough if we tell them that we cannot sleep thinking about their plight.”
