They should appeal better once watched with scenes but as pure audio tracks, they dont hold your attention much longer.
The first of the lot is 'Anuraga Karikkinvellam' by Thaikkudam Bridge fame father-son duo Peethambaran Menon and Govind Menon. It has some good energy to it, especially in the punch line Anuraga Karikkin Vellam. But in many portions, the lyrics dont seamlessly blend well with the tune, for instance, the line Aa Manassile Murivukalkku
Vaikom Vijayalakshmi, Niranj, Shabareesh Varma and Sreerag Saji come together for the next track Neeyo Njano, which has a street party feel to it. Like in the previous song, the punch portion takes the cake here too. Vijayalakshmis voice dominates over the rest and her robust singing style injects peppiness into the song. The words are nothing impressive, but the music is catchy and the track is decently enjoyable.
The third song Manogatham Bhavan has Mathangi and Haricharan taking on the lead vocals, and it is a semi-classical song that sounds like a devotional track. The track is perhaps best seen and not heard, and wouldnt be everyones cup of tea. As for the classical strains in it, they have the potential to appeal to you after multiple listens.
The composers sister Preeti Pillai joins hands with Arun Kamath for the next song Poyimaranjo, which is a laidback track on something lost. The tune isnt catchy and does not have much to swank about.
