Aarvam actor Unni Lalu comes up with a music video Adinenjei Thakkure

Unni Lalu is extremely happy about the response he has been receiving for his latest music video titled

Adinenjei Thakkure

. The actor who is playing Antony Varghese’ friend in his upcoming movie Aarvam, goes effusive about the effort the team has put behind it.



The visuals are really colourful and give a lot of importance to dance moves. “I didn’t know dance but I learnt it for this video. I am really happy the way it is being appreciated,” he says. The song composed by

also features Ashwathy. The video is directed by Akshay Ashok.

The video was shot in Kochi after lockdown in November. Unni says, “When lockdown declared I was acting in Aaravam and also in discussion for a few other movies, everything came to a standstill. Then we friends joined together and created a few funny videos. Then we decided to do a music video which is not so usual fun. Thus we came up with this music video based on dance which is really colourful.”

Earlier the team had done two other music videos titled - Nee and Neelakkalmookuthi. “Nee was a huge hit,” says the Kozhikode native.



On his upcoming movie Aaravam, he says it’s a campus film that deals with the rivalry between two gangs and the problems that follow. “It has a lot of crowd sequence as it is a college movie. So, we haven’t restarted the shoot yet,” Unni adds.



The film directed by Nahas Hidayath and written by Anil Narayanan is produced by O Thomas Panicker. Actress Ann Sheetal plays the female lead in the film with the supporting cast including Shine Tom Chacko, Renji Panicker and Saiju Kurup. Unni reveals that working with senior artists was really comfortable. “I was tense initially. Interestingly, they had seen my short videos and thus I was able to connect with them well,” he says.
