, the trio is enjoying some great bonding time together, says Vinay.
“Sometimes, the apt casting of a film also gives you a chance to make new friends,” says Vinay, who is sharing screen with Unni for the first time. Talking about the Mallu Singh actor, Vinay reveals, “I always thought of him as an extremely serious guy. Though both of us have been in the industry for quite a while, I never got a chance to interact with Unni until Avarude Ravukal. I learnt that the guy is a sweet soul in six pack unlike what I thought!” After their debut, Asif and Vinay got their breaks through Apoorvaragam and their latest venture together was Kohinoor.
Shanil's movie tells the tale of three young men, who are going through tough times in life and end up together in Kochi. “My character comes to Kochi for a break after encountering some trouble in his professional and personal lives. His meetings with the other two form the film’s plot. Actor Nedumudi Venu also plays a pivotal role in our lives in the movie,” Vinay reveals.
Does acting with contemporaries make him competitive? Vinay clarifies, “Never! We are in an era where people believe in growing together and I always concentrate just on the script of the film and my character's impact in it. If these factors excite me, I will definitely sign it,” he sums up.
