Taking the lead in film distribution

Boney Assanar, Robin Thomas and Soniyal Varghese, who are from Thrissur, helm High Hopes Film Factory, which is now a leading distributor in the Malayalam film industry. After pursuing studies in the mechanical field while in college, they went their different ways and got busy with their careers. However, their friendship and passion for films brought them together and prompted them to venture into film distribution.They have distributed 35 big and small budget films, in the three years since they started their office in Pullepady, Kochi.
They have associated with films such as Onnum Ariyadhe, Rameshan Oru Peralla, Swapnarajyam and a few others that have done well. They also helped bring out films that had been shelved and ensured a theatre release for them.
Their aim is to make High Hopes Film Factory irreplaceable in the film distribution circuit. They recently released Seizer, a Kannada film, in more than 70 theatres. While only horror films or superhero films are released in 3D, they released Bolivia, a realistic film in the format in India. The latest film they distributed was Meezan Chachaji. Their next step is into film production with two projects in the pipeline.
