Pranav Ratheesh to romance Maria John

With beautiful light-hued eyes that remind us of their father, actors Parvathy and Padmarajan, the children of yesteryear actor Ratheesh, have already made their presence felt in M-Town. Their younger sibling, Pranav Ratheesh, is the next to set foot into the tinsel town. Pranav, who debuts in Sujith S Nair’s upcoming movie Vaaku, has also taken up the new film Theeram, by Shaheed Arafath.
Director Shaheed says, “It is a love story based in Alappuzha, and Pranav plays the character named Ali, an auto rickshaw driver. He falls in love with Suhara, who works in a food manufacturing company. Maria John, who acted with Fahadh Faasil in Red Wine, plays Pranav’s love interest in the film.” Scripted by Ansar Thajudheen and Praneesh Prabhakar, the makers claim that it would be a “realistic” movie.
