Zarina Wahab to act in Madhu Warrier's 'Lalitham Sundharam'?

Madhu Warrier’s maiden directorial venture has kickstarted yesterday with an auspicious puja function. Titled ‘Lalitham Sundharam’ the movie will see Manju Warrier and Biju Menon essaying the lead roles. Also, Manju is bankrolling the project that has become the talk of the town. Reports suggest that veteran actress Zarina Wahab will be essaying a character in the movie. The actress was present at the puja function and is expected to be essaying a pivotal role in the film.

Lalitham Sundaram

’ brings back Manju Warrier and Biju Menon as a couple. It has been over two decades since the duo has worked together. The duo’s popular movies include ‘Krishnagudiyil Oru Pranayakaalathu,’ ‘Innalakalilllathe,’ ‘Kannezhuthi Pottum Thottu’ etc.

Manju Warrier and Kochumon are jointly backing the project under the actress’ production banner Manju Warrier Productions. Madhu Warrier, who is also an actor, will be turning director with the upcoming movie ‘Lalitham Sundharam’.

Meanwhile, ‘Lalitha Sundharam’ will also mark the collaboration of Manju and Biju Menon after two decades. Pramod Mohan, the director of 'Orayiram Kinakkalal, will be crafting the screenplay, while P Sukumaran will crank the lens. Lijo Paul has been roped in as the editor and Bijibal is in charge of the music department. The movie is expected to be a summer release.
