Writer NS Madhavan lauds Biju Menon starrer ‘Thankam’

Mollywood actors Biju Menon, Vineeth Sreenivasan, and Aparna Balamurali teamed up for the realistic thriller film ‘Thankam’ and the movie has finally started streaming on a popular OTT platform.

Popular writer NS Madhavan shared much adulation for the Biju Menon starrer ‘Thankam’ and penned a note on his official Twitter handle.

NS Madhavan’s Twitter note read, “I liked #Thankam. Always liked Biju Menon movies. Girish Kulkarni is a casting coup. It’s a police procedural on the grey side of the gold business in Kerala. The movie is a pioneer in the sense that for the first time, new Kuthiran tunnels are shown. Many more films to follow!”

Meanwhile, Biju Menon - Vineeth Sreenivasan starrer ‘Thankam’ hit the big screens on January 26 this year and the movie mostly received positive responses, except for the ending which most of them didn't like. The overall performances and the terrific storyline penned down by the ace writer Syam Pushkaran are said to be the main highlights of the movie.

Directed by Saheed Arafath, the script of ‘Thankam’ was penned down by the writer Syam Pushkaran and the cinematography was by Gautham Sankar. Kiran Das did the editing for the movie that featured the actors Biju Menon, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Aparna Balamurali, Girish Kulkarni, Anshuman Joshi, and several others in significant roles.
