Writer-director Midhun gives acting a shot with a short

Scriptwriter and director Midhun Manuel Thomas, of such hits as the ‘Aadu’ franchise, ‘Ann Maria Kalippilaanu’, and most recently ‘Argentina Fans Kattoorkadavu’showed that he is a man of several talents. He has ventured into acting through about half-hour long short film ‘Adi Idi Vedi’. The short film, written and directed by Vishnu Bharathan, also features comedy actor Aneesh Gopal.
The short film, with effects and animation, features a couple of not-so-bright guys involved in a deal with a diamond. The director, playing a goon with a comic turn, posted on social media, “First ever acting attempt in a role in life other than a couple of passing shots…. It’s a simple gangster comedy shortie. Music by friend Sooraj S Kurup, sound design by Ranganaath Ravee, edited by Samjith Mohd and the list of talented guys goes on.”
