The film told the story of two childhood friends, Sundar Prasad and Leela Thomas, who belong to different religions and fall in love. The film is receiving positive feedback, and post the release, while speaking to Hyderabad Times, director Vivek Athreya shared, “I absolutely cannot imagine this film without Nani or Nazriya. We were very keen on casting these two as the leads, and they really breathed life into the characters. Ante Sundaraniki has something in it for everyone and must be experienced in theatres.”
