When Thulasi Nair floored her family!

Thulasi Nair, the new actress on the block from yesteryear actress Radha's family, shares with us how her entry into films shocked her family more than anyone else.
"I was never the type who'd step in front of the stage, forget being an active participant in any extra-curricular activities in school. I'd always prefer to hang somewhere around the backstage. And when I finally made my film debut with Mani Ratnam's Kadal and started getting good reviews, my family was in for a surprise," she laughs.
Thulasi continues, "That introvert girl had suddenly started acting, dancing and singing onscreen and that was too much of a shock for my family! Though, they told me how proud I've made them," the actress tells us from the set of her second film, Yaan, in Mumbai.
