When Mammootty revealed that he is open to work with son Dulquer Salmaan

Mammootty and his son, actor Dulquer Salmaan hold a special bond off-screen and the fans are eagerly waiting for the father and son to team up for a film. Earlier Mammootty revealed that he is open to working with son Dulquer Salmaan.

According to Indian Express, in an event in UAE, Mammootty was asked on whether he has any plans to team up with Dulquer for any film projects. He replied by saying, “It may happen. It may take some time.” The ‘Turbo’ actor also revealed that there are no plans to collaborate soon.

Earlier there were rumors that Mammootty and Dulquer Salmaan will be teaming up for the second installment of ‘Big B’ which is tentatively titled ‘Bilal’. But no further updates were unveiled by the makers even though Amal Neerad will reportedly soon start working on ‘Bilal’.


Earlier in an interview Dulquer Salmaan revealed his wish to team up with his dad. The ‘Lucky Baskhar’ actor said that it’s very tricky to convince his father on doing a project. Dulquer also said that he doesn’t love being called a star kid and wants to shake off the tag of being known only as the son of the superstar.


On the other hand, the Malayali audiences are all set to witness the biggest collaboration ever, as Mammootty and Mohanlal are teaming up for an upcoming film which is directed by Mahesh Narayanan. The movie also stars Kunchacko Boban, Nayanthara, Fahadh Faasil and many others in the lead. The untitled film started rolling on the last day.
