When Dulquer Salmaan expressed his admiration for Nayanthara: 'I love you…'

She is admired by thousands of people across the globe, and her recent Bollywood debut with ‘Jawan’ opposite Shah Rukh Khan has only added to her popularity.

Let’s take a look back at the time when Dulquer Salmaan expressed his love and admiration to Nayanthara. Back in 2018, Dulquer and Nayanthara attended an award night, along with the many other A-listers in the industry. Nayanthara won the best actress award and it was interestingly presented by Dulquer Salmaan.

Dulquer Salmaan delivered the famous dialogue said by Jai’s character in ‘Raja Rani’, which featured Nayanthara in the lead role. He said, “En appa than enik bhayam, mathappadi I love you enga. I felt that was so apt.”

Interestingly, just like Dulquer Salmaan mentioned, it was quite apt, considering that Dulquer’s dad superstar Mammootty has worked with Nayanthara. Mammootty and Nayanthara collaborated on several projects from the beginning of her career, and they have played on-screen couple.

During that time, Dulquer also added, “I love you Nayanthara. I always loved your work and been a great fan of yours for a long time.She is everyone’s favorite heroine. My favorite too. I don’t think the time has moved forward with you. You’re aging backwards,” he said.
