Possibility 1: Yodhakkal

#Simon Says, “ The title ‘The Expendable’ is such a terrific name for an action film. Coming to the Mollywood remake of ‘The Expendables’, the film will be given a Malayalam title that will go by ‘Yodhakkal’ aka ‘The Warriors’.

Possibility 2: Director Amal Neerad

#Simon Says, “ Honestly, the director Amal Neerad, who has a unique style of presenting action movies will be perfect to direct the Malayalam remake of ‘The Expendables’. The remake film would be a complete action package and will be safe in the hands of the director Amal Neerad who has made several Malayalam action films such as ‘Big B’, ‘Anwar’ and ‘Sagar Alias Jackie.”

Possibility 3: Sylvester Stallone as Mammootty

#Simon Says, “ The legendary actor Mammootty will be perfect to be cast in the role of Barney Ross played by the Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone in the original film. Imagine Amal Neerad teaming up with Mammootty for the remake of ‘The Expendable’, goosebumps right?”

Possibility 4: Jason Statham as Prithviraj Sukumaran

#Simon Says, “The Hollywood actor Jason Statham played the role of Lee Christmas in the Hollywood action film ‘The Expendable’. In the Mollywood version of the film, the actor Prithviraj Sukumaran could be apt to reprise the character, and Mammootty- Prithviraj chemistry could work well in the Mollywood remake.”

Possibility 5: Bruce Willis as Mohanlal

#Simon Says, “ Although the Hollywood actor Bruce Willis plays a cameo role in the Hollywood film ‘The Expendables’, he creates such a terrific impact among the audience. This cameo role would be perfectly suitable for the superstar Mohanlal in the Mollywood remake of ‘The Expendables’. We all know how perfect Mohanlal was when he played a cameo role in the Nivin Pauly starrer film ‘Kayamkulam Kochunni’.”

Possibility 6: Jet Li as Jay J Jakkrit

#Simon Says, “ Anyone who has watched the epic action Malayalam film ‘Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea’, would never forget the character Chinali, played by the actor Jay J Jakkrit. With the right potion of action style and acting abilities, the actor Jay J Jakkrit really stole the audience hearts. So coming to the Malayalam remake of the action film ‘The Expendables’, the actor Jay J Jakkrit could reprise the role of Jet Li flawlessly.

Possibility 7: Mel Gibson as Arjun Sarja

#Simon Says, “The renowned Hollywood actor-director Mel Gibson plays a pivotal antagonist role in the film ‘The Expendables’ as the character Stonebanks. The Indian actor Arjun Sarja, who has a real good physique coupled with acting skills could nail the role of Stonebanks in the Mollywood remake of ‘The Expendables’.

#Simon Says, “Everyone loves a good action film. Although there are budget issues, we have all longed for a complete action-packed Mollywood film. A Mollywood remake of an action-packed Hollywood film like ‘The Expendables’ could perfectly fulfill our wish. Today we have discussed most of the possibilities that could happen if ‘The Expendables’ was made in Mollywood. Let's catch up next week with an interesting episode of the #Whatif series. Till then bye.”
