#Whatif ‘Psycho’ was made in Mollywood in the 60s

Welcome my travel partners. Today let's take a look at the 60s Hollywood era and check out all the possibilities that could happen if Alfred Hitchcock’s classic ‘Psycho’ was made in Mollywood. Over to Simon.

#Simon Says, “This will be the first time that we are entering the realm of B/W Hollywood movies and I am pretty excited that we will be exploring the classic mystery drama film ‘Psycho’ today. Kindly pass me the tickets as ETimes presents the 27th episode - ‘#Whatif ‘Psycho’ was made in the 60s Mollywood.”

Possibility 1: Norman Bates as Prem Nazir

#Simon Says, “ Norman Bates, the central character in ‘Psycho’ is one of the most terrific villains of cinema history. Reprising such a character in Mollywood is a herculean task, but still, the evergreen actor Prema Nazir could perform the role of Norman Bates perfectly in the Mollywood remake.”

Possibility 2: Marion Crane as Sharada

#Simon Says, “Marion Crane is one of the female lead characters in ‘Psycho’ who unfortunately gets killed in the first half itself. Coming to the Mollywood remake, the veteran actress Sharada could perfectly reprise the role.”

Possibility 3: Lila Crane as Sheela

#Simon Says, “ Lila Crane is introduced in ‘Psycho’ as Marion Crane’s sister who is on a quest to find the whereabouts of her missing sister. In the Mollywood remake of ‘Psycho, as the character, Lila requires much more dramatic acting, the actress Sheela would be apt to play the role.”

Possibility 4: Directed by Ramu Kariat

#Simon Says, “The ace 60s Mollywood director Ramu Kariat, who has done several classical Malayalam movies such as ‘Chemmeen’, ‘Neelakkuyil’, ‘Nellu’, and ‘Maaya’ can do complete justice to the Mollywood remake of ‘Psycho.’”

#Simon Says, “Finally we have successfully completed our debut entry into the 60s Hollywood era and checked out most of the possibilities of #Whatif ‘Psycho’ was made in Mollywood. Most of the possibilities that we found out seem to work perfectly for the Mollywood remake. So I really hope you guys loved today’s episode. Let's meet next week at the same time with another interesting episode of #Whatif.”
