#Whatif! ‘La La Land’ was made in Mollywood

Welcome my travel partners. We have all experienced meet-cute moments in our real-life where you meet the person you love the most for the first time and you feel that romantic music track playing in mind. Alas! #Simon Says, “Hey guys, quickly hand over the ticket. I want to say something that I wish you guys will keep as a secret. I lied about the fact that I never had a meet-cute moment in my life. But I will consider it as a white lie as it has easily given us the opportunity to travel to the realm of the romantic Hollywood film ‘La La Land’. So buckle up as ETimes presents the 16th episode of #Whatif ‘La La Land’ was made in Mollywood.”

Possibility 1: Sebastian as Pranav Mohanlal

#Simon Says, “The lead character Sebastian in the Hollywood film ‘La La Land’ is portrayed as a struggling jazz pianist and the character was played by the Hollywood actor Ryan Gosling. Coming to the Mollywood remake of the film, Sebastian’s role is apt for the actor Pranav Mohanlal who has exceptional skill at evoking romantic feelings among the audience that we have all seen in the recently released film ‘Hridayam’.”

Possibility 2: Amelia as Kalyani Priyadarshan

#Simon Says, “We have seen that perfect chemistry between the actors Pranav Mohanlal and Kalyani Priyadarshan in the romantic film ‘Hridayam’. The character Amelia in the film ‘La La Land' is the romantic partner of Sebastian. In the Mollywood remake, Kalyani Priyadarshan could perfectly portray the character.”

Possibility 3: Directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan

#Simon Says, “The Mollywood director Vineeth Sreenivasan has exceptional skill at portraying the emotion- Love, through the use of perfectly arranged scenes coupled with that soothing musical track in the background. One could only expect magic if Vineeth Sreenivasan is to don the director’s cap for the Mollywood remake of the romantic Hollywood film ‘La La Land’.”

Possibility 4: ‘A Lovely night’ - ‘Walking in the moonlight’

#Simon Says, “‘A Lovely night’ song scene in the Hollywood film ‘La La Land’ is one of the best romantic sequences in the film. Director Vineeth Sreenivasan always tries to reprise iconic old songs in most of his films in apt situations. As a result, coming to the Mollywood remake of La La Land’, we will be hearing the remixed version of the romantic track ‘Walking in the Moonlight’ from the Kunchacko Boban starrer film ‘Sathyam Sivam Sundaram’ replaced with ‘A Lovely Night’.”

#Simon Says, “So today we have explored the romantic Hollywood film ‘La La Land’ and looked into the possibilities of it being remade in Mollywood. All at the cost of my white lie. I am sure you all had a wonderful experience during today’s trip. Meet you all next week at the same time with another interesting episode of #Whatif.”
