#Whatif ‘Die Hard’ was made in Mollywood

Welcome my all-seeing travelers. It's been a while since we explored the realm of a complete action movie. So I bought the ticket to the Bruce Willis starrer Hollywood film ‘Die Hard’. So grab this ticket and enjoy the ride to Hollywood’s best action thriller. Over to Simon.

Previous Episode link: #Whatif 'Interstellar' was made in Mollywood

#Simon Says, “ What a perfect day to start a journey to an action thriller film ‘Die Hard’ which deals with a hostage crisis situation that is similar to the Tamil superstar Vijay’s ‘Beast’. So pass me the ticket and let's venture into the 21st episode of #Whatif ‘Die Hard’ was made in Mollywood.”

Possibility 1: John Mclane as Mohanlal

#Simon Says, “ Anyone who has seen the Mohanlal starrer action film ‘Moonam Mura’ surely knows how well the actor can perform an action sequence. John Mclane, the protagonist in ‘Die Hard’ was essayed by the Hollywood actor Bruce Willis and coming to the Mollywood remake, Mohanlal is the perfect option to reprise the role.”

Possibility 2: Hans Gruber as Shine Tom Chacko

#Simon Says, “ Hans Gruber, played by the late Hollywood actor Alan Rickman, is the antagonist in the action thriller film ‘Die Hard’. Different from other antagonists, Alan Rickman’s character has a well-defined structure to it that gives much space for the actor to unveil his talents. Coming to the Mollywood remake, the antagonist role will be safe in the hands of the actor Shine Tom Chacko.”

Possibility 3: Holly Gennaro Mc Clane as Shobana

#Simon Says, “ The Hollywood actress Bonnie Bedelia plays the wife character of Bruce Willis in the film ‘Die Hard’ and her character Holly Gennaro McClane is one of her best on-screen characters. Coming to the Mollywood remake of the film, the ace actor Shobana could perfectly portray her role.”

Possibility 4: Directed by Amal Neerad

#Simon Says, “ Admit it, Amal Neerad is one of the best Malayalam directors who has a different execution style that comes on par with any Hollywood action thrillers. His recent Mammootty starrer ‘Bheeshma Parvam’ is a supreme example of how well the director is capable of generating a wow feeling among the audience with his execution-style coupled with a wafer-thin plot. If the movie ‘Die Hard’ is to be remade in Malayalam then it will be safe in the hands of the ace director Amal Neerad.”

Possibility 5: Placement of songs

#Simon Says, “ Even if a movie is made by Amal Neerad, the usage of songs to entertain the audience is unavoidable. In a tightly packed entertainer like ‘Die Hard’, it would be a herculean task to place songs. Most probably a romantic track would be placed at the starting of the movie, where Bruce Willis’ character would be dancing to the song, ‘Vennilave..Vennilave’.”

#Simon Says, “ So we have explored most of the possibilities that could happen if ‘Die Hard’ is made in Mollywood. As we discussed since Amal Neerad is selected as the man to helm the movie, witnessed a reasonable amount of slow-motion sequences in the film which is the trademark of the director. Hope you guys enjoyed today’s episode. Meet you all next time with yet another interesting episode of #Whatif.”
