Wedding bells for Miya George?

Has Mollywood actress Miya George found her soul mate? Reports are rife that the 'Driving License' actress Miya George has recently got engaged. However, there have been no confirmations from her or her family and friends.

As per sources, actress Miya George got engaged to her longtime family friend and businessman from Kottayam. A couple of pictures of the engagement ceremony are surfacing online. Reportedly, Miya got engaged to the businessman in a low-key ceremony held at

, which was attended by the duos family and close relatives. If reports are to be believed, Miya George is planning to tie the knot in September. However, the actress hasn’t yet confirmed the same.

One of the popular actors in M-Town, Miya entered movies through television soaps. The gorgeous actress is a native of Pala and she entered Mollywood as a supporting actor in the movie 'Oru Small Family'. After doing a couple of supporting characters, Miya appeared in the Kunchacko Boban-starrer ‘Vishudhan’, wherein she played the leading lady. Some of her notable performances include those in movies like, ‘Hi I'm Tony’, 'Salaam Kashmir', 'Anarkali', and 'Ente Mezhuthiri Athazhangal’. Miya has also acted in a few Tamil and Telugu movies.

'Driving License' was one of Miya’s recent projects. She essayed the wife of Kuruvila Joseph (Suraj Venjaramoodu), a vehicle inspector and lead in the movie. She played this loving, greedy, and lively character Elsa Kuruvila. Miya received a lot of praise for her performance in ‘Driving License’. Her last release is ‘Al Mallu’. Miya has signed a project with Kalidas Jayaram. The yet to be titled movie is directed by Vinil Varghese and the film went on floors in February but was suspended due to the lockdown. The movie is produced by Sreejith KS and Blessy Sreejith, under a new production banner Navarasa Films.
