Manju Warrier has lent voice to the Malayalam version of ‘We Will Rise’, a documentary made by filmmaker Bharat Bala. The four-minute documentary captures the moments when the nation was under lockdown. Mollywood’s Lady superstar, Manju Warrier has given voice-over to the documentary ‘Naam Athijeevikkum (We Will Rise)’. Although the documentary has filmed the gloomy days of the country, it sends out a message that we will overcome this and rise.

A 117 member crew began their journey on March 25, travelled across the nation in 14 states, including places like Assam, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Gujarat, and Jammu and Kashmir and captured the country that has reached a standstill, due to the coronavirus outbreak and following lockdown. As per the sources, a control room was set up in Mumbai and director Bharat Bala gave instructions through video call on which frame to capture, coordinating the team and visualised the lockdown days.
