, founding member of Women in Cinema Collective, said that resignations happen in every organisation and that it was an internal matter. "It is a member's personal decision. It is the same with the filmmaker Vidhu Vincent. WCC chooses not to engage about the topic in public because she is also a woman who is trying to find her space in a male-ominated industry. Vidhu must do more films as we believe it is a political act. WCC follows a no-door policy and we are open to every woman who dreams and wants to make films within or outside the industry. It is a movement that works primarily to achieve equal space and opportunity for women," she explains, adding that words are based on her personal understanding of the organisation's position.
