Mathew Thomas and Malavika Mohanan starrer ‘Christy’ has hit the big screens today (Feb 17). The footfall for the romcom is impressive as the first show has begun, and the film is also running house full in several centres. Directed by Alvin Henry, ‘Christy’ is scripted by Benyamin and GR Indugopan. The film tells the story of a young boy falling for an older woman. Malavika Mohanan and Mathew Thomas are playing the lead roles of Christy and Roy respectively. The makers had already launched the teaser, trailer, and a song from the film, which managed to create a buzz amongst the movie buffs. Shot in Kerala’s Poovar, ‘Christy’ also marks Malavika Mohanan’s return to Mollywood after five years.

On the technical front, Govind Vasantha composed the music for the film. Anend C Chandran has wielded the lens for ‘Christy’ and Manu Antony is the editor. Sujith Raghav is the art director and the costumes are designed by Sameera Saneesh.

The cast and crew were in Thiruvananthapuram for the audio launch, and that too added to the buzz. “And what an audio launch it was for #Christy !
