VK Prakash's daughter Kavya set to make directorial debut

This year saw the rise of women filmmakers, including Geetu Mohandas going places with her Moothon. It looks like the next year will have at least a couple more women making their debut. Actor Ansiba had announced that she was venturing into direction, with Mohanlal releasing the title Allu & Arjun.
Now, Kavya Prakash, daughter of director V K Prakash has announced her directorial venture Vaanku.The story is by Unni R, with script and dialogues by Shabna Mohammed. The music is by Ouseppachan and Arjun Ravi is the cinematographer. The beautiful, illustrated poster shows a woman praying in a forest setting at dusk.
