Vishnu Unnikrishnan is currently hospitalized, after suffering burns on Wednesday (June 1) evening, while shooting for a film. The actor has taken to his social media handle to share his health update with fans and followers. Vishnu Unnikrishnan shared a photo of him, with bandaged hands and said that the burn is being treated and he will be leaving the hospital in a few days.
The actor began his not saying “SAY NO TO PLASTIC,” and added that plastic surgery is not required in his case. He went on adding that he came across several messages and calls from fans and wellwishers, due to several misleading rumours, and hence decide to post an update himself.
“My hands were burned, from the oil from lamp, during the filming of ‘
Vedikettu
’. I am currently hospitalized and receiving treatment. Will need to rest for a few days. And will resume shooting once the burn starts healing,” Vishnu Unnikrishnan said in his note.

. The duo has scripted for films ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’, ‘Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan’, and ‘Oru Yamandan Premakadha’, and the upcoming movie marks their first as directors. The shooting was progressing at warp speed.
Following the mishap on Wednesday, Vishnu Unnikrishnan was rushed to a hospital in Palarivattom, where he is currently undergoing treatment.
