Vishal starrer ‘Sandakozhi 2’ to release on September 18?

Riding high on the success of the latest cyber-crime thriller ‘Irumbu Thirai, Vishal will be next seen in ‘Sandakozhi 2’, which is projected as an out-and-out commercial entertainer. While the theatrical trailer of ‘Sandakozhi 2’ was released recently, the buzz is that the film will be released on September 18.

According to reports, the makers are eyeing for a release on September 18 as it marks the auspicious festival of Ganesh Chaturthi.However, an official confirmation from the makers is awaited.
Directed by Lingusamy, ‘Sandakozhi 2’ is a sequel to the blockbuster film that released in 2005. ‘Sandakozhi 2’ trailer received good response from fans and has clocked in more than two million views on YouTube.
Apart from Vishal, the film also stars Keerthy Suresh, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Rajkiran, Soori and Ganja Karuppu in pivotal roles. Jointly produced by Vishal Film Factory and Pen Studio, ‘Sandakozhi 2’ has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
On the work front, Vishal hasn’t signed any new projects yet and awaits the release of the long-delayed ‘Madha Gaja Raja, directed by Sundar C.
